Crete

There is something strangely mythological and awe-inspiring regarding the island of Crete. Home to gods and mythical beasts, it is the largest island in Greece, and was the center of ancient European civilization. Now, with its beautifully crafted suburbs and high yet still affordable standards of living, it becomes very difficult to imagine Crete as anything but modern and efficient, though traces of that old culture seem to linger in its stones and majestic monuments to ancient deities.

The many different land properties and villas that abound in Crete seem to be influenced by those same impressions. Nestled near the shores of the Greek Islands, the Viglia Beach villas are aesthetic and pleasing to the eye, offering luxury bedroom apartments that still maintain the look and feel of authentic old-world atmosphere, in part due to its intricate Croatian architecture. Embellished gardens round up the soothing beachscape.

A little farther away lies the Kastelli. Located on the hillside, these one to two bedroom apartments offer a delightful mix of traditional building complexes, and a tempting view of the olive plantations abundant in the area, complete with an impressive view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Santorini Villas and Paros Gardens also share a close view o the beach, only 100 and 200 meter away from the shore, respectively. Apartments, villas and maisonettes, each with either one, two or three superior bedrooms, are available, and are as picturesque as the scenery they find themselves in, with architecture that compliments the culture of the region. The Paros Gardens in particular, also boasts of a clubhouse and even a nearby hotel for more recreational facilities to be enjoyed.

For those seeking a quieter and more authentic feel of regional and local living, the Gold Coast Villas I and II not only provide an exquisite view overlooking the sea and spacious terraces, but it is located right next to a local fishing village to complete the genuine archaic feel of the place despite the modern amenities made available to tenants.

Between the Paphos Harbour and Coral Bay lies the Apollo Beach Village, named after the Greek god of light. Oversized bedrooms, double doors, and European style kitchens only accentuate the resplendent landscaped roof gardens, and sun terraces, and are a popular choice to those who’d love to own beachfronts at very practical prices.

Further inland, the Peyia Hills has several luxury bedroom apartments that nonetheless overlook the both the sea and the local pool. Residents choose to live here mostly because of the more apparent modern facilities and amenities such as covered parking lots and recreational activities, but also because of the good security and the friendly neighborhood – Crete is known for being a secure place, known for its hospitality.

Sporting a warm, sunny climate all year round and high quality and professional services and facilities made available all throughout, Crete is easily a popular choice to live in. Surrounded by the allure of mythology mixed in with surprising modern convenience, Crete is both a popular source of holidays and an ideal living place, catering to all tastes.
